1.1.11. Camshafts and yokes

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a "weight" wire from the storage battery.
2. Merge cooling liquid.
3. Remove the wide hose connecting the air filter and a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
4. Remove the air filter.
5. Remove casings of a gear belt.
6. Uncover heads of the block of cylinders and the sensor of an angle of rotation.

7. Turn out bolts and remove pulleys from camshafts.

8. Turn out bolts and covers of bearings, camshafts, yokes and jacks of gaps.

Check

Yokes

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check ease and smoothness of rotation of a roller.

2. To check a roller. Replace it, there are dents, damage or evidence of jamming.
3. Check a working end face of a yoke. If the end face of a core is worn-out or расклепан, replace the valve.

Camshafts

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check necks of camshafts on lack of non-uniform wear, cracks or damages.
2. Check contours of cams of camshafts on lack of wear or damages. In two points measure height of each cam of a camshaft.

  • Nominal height of cams of a camshaft of the managing director of inlet valves: 35,493 mm
  • Nominal height of a camshaft of the managing director of final valves of cars with MKP: 35,317 mm
  • Nominal height of a camshaft of the managing director of final valves of cars with AKP: 35,204 mm
  • Minimum admissible height of cams of a camshaft of the managing director of inlet valves: 34,993 mm
  • Minimum admissible height of a camshaft of the managing director of final valves of cars with MKP: 34,817 mm
  • Minimum admissible height of a camshaft of the managing director of final valves of cars with AKP: 34,704 mm

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish camshafts on a head of the block of cylinders.
  1. Before installation apply a thin film pure engine oil on all surfaces of sliding of camshafts.
  2. The camshaft operating inlet valves, has a groove on a back part for a drive of the sensor of an angle of rotation.

2. Establish covers of bearings of camshafts. Check the identification labels defining camshafts of inlet or final valves.

  • L–a camshaft operating inlet valves.
  • R–a camshaft operating final valves.

3. Be convinced that the camshaft easily rotates by hand. After check remove covers of bearings and camshafts and then establish yokes.

4. Be convinced that adjusting pins in a camshaft end face from a pulley are directed up.

5. In sequence shown in drawing in two or three stages tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings the demanded moment.

Tighten evenly bolts of fastening of covers.
Inhaling moment: 19–21 N • m

6. Using special tools for installation of oil consolidation of a camshaft and directing (09221–21000,09221–21100), press oil consolidation of a camshaft. Before a press fitting of consolidation grease with engine oil an external surface of consolidation. Insert oil consolidation on a forward end face of a camshaft and establish it, striking with a hammer on the adaptation, before its complete installation.

7. Establish a pulley of a camshaft and fix it a bolt.

Inhaling moment: 80–100 N • m

8. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders. Put hermetic in places shown in drawing.

Inhaling moments

  • Bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders: 8–10 N • m
  • Central bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders: 4–5 N • m

Hermetic

  • In places And: No. 10 or equivalent
  • In places In: No. 1212 D or equivalent

Length of a bolt x diameter:

  • 25 x 6 mm;
  • 20 x 6 mm;
  • 15 x 6 mm.

9. Screw spark plugs, establish the ignition coil, connect the socket, then establish the central cover.

10. Arrange above an adjusting pin of a pulley of a camshaft of the managing director inlet valves.

11. Combine a label of the sensor of a camshaft with a groove in distributive to a shaft (from an inlet collector) and fix the sensor bolts.

The sensor of an angle of rotation of a camshaft can be established, even when the adjusting pin will be located from the opposite side work of system of injection of fuel and installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition, however, is broken.

12. Establish the sensor of an angle of rotation of a camshaft on a head of the block of cylinders.
