1.1.12. Forward cover, oil pump and balancing shaft

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a gear belt.
2. Turn out all bolts of fastening of the oil pallet.
3. Remove the oil pallet.
4. Remove the mesh oil filter and laying.
5. Remove a plunzher and laying, then disconnect compensating spring and a safety valve from an arm of the oil filter.

6. Remove the sensor of pressure of oil.

7. Remove an arm of the oil filter and laying.

8. Using the special tool, remove a stopper from a forward cover.

9. Before an otvorachivaniye of nuts of fastening of a pulley of the oil pump, at first remove a cap on the left side of the block of cylinders and into an opening insert a screw-driver to block the left balancing shaft in a starting position. The screw-driver used for this purpose should have a core in diameter of 8 mm which can be inserted on depth more than 60 mm.

10. Unscrew a lock nut of fastening of a pulley of the oil pump and remove a pulley. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the right balancing shaft until it cannot be unscrewed manually.

11. Turn out forward bolts of fastening of a forward cover and uncover also laying. Get two balancing shaft from the block of cylinders.

12. Uncover the oil pump from a forward cover.

13. Get gear wheels of the oil pump from a forward cover.

Forward cover

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check lubricant openings on lack of contaminations and, if necessary, clear them.
2. Check bearings of the forward cover, contacting to balancing shaft on lack of wear, damages and jammings. In the presence of defects replace a forward cover.
3. Check a forward cover on lack of cracks or damages and if necessary replace it.

Balancing shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Check necks of shaft on lack of wear or jamming. In the presence of defects replace a balancing shaft and, if necessary, a forward cover. If replacement of a balancing shaft is carried out, it is desirable to replace and the second balancing shaft.

Replacement of the bearing of a balancing shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Using the special tool, take the forward bearing of the right balancing shaft from a forward part of the block of cylinders.

2. Using the special tool, take the back bearing of the right balancing shaft from a back part of the block of cylinders.

3. Using the special tool, take the back bearing of the left balancing shaft from a back part of the block of cylinders. Establish the special tool on a forward surface of the block of cylinders for support of a stripper of the bearing.

4. Using the special tool, establish the back bearing of the left balancing shaft in a back part of the block of cylinders.
  1. Grease with engine oil an external surface of the bearing and a bearing nest in the block of cylinders.
  2. The back bearing of the left balancing shaft has no lubricant openings.

5. Using the special tool, establish the back bearing of the right balancing shaft in a back part of the block of cylinders.

  1. Grease with engine oil an external surface of the bearing.
  2. Be convinced that the lubricant opening of the bearing is combined with an opening of the block of cylinders.

6. Using the special tool, establish the forward bearing of the right balancing shaft in a forward part of the block of cylinders.

Be convinced that the lubricant opening of the bearing is combined with an opening of the block of cylinders.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease gear wheels and combine adjusting labels on gear wheels.

2. Using the special tool 09214-32000, establish in a forward cover oil consolidation of the forward party of a cranked shaft.

3. Establish the special tool 09214-32100 at a forward end face of a cranked shaft and apply a thin film oils on an external surface of the special tool for installation of a forward cover.

4. Establish a forward cover and temporarily screw bolts of fastening of a ledge with a filter arm.

5. Establish a forward cover with new laying and fix it bolts.

Inhaling moment: 20–27 N • m

6. Insert a screw-driver into a through opening under a cap to block the left balancing shaft in a starting position.

7. Establish a new sealing ring in a flute of a forward cover.

8. Using the special tool, establish a cap and tighten it the demanded moment.

9. Put a hermetic layer in a groove of a flange of the oil pallet as is shown in drawing.
  1. The thickness of a layer of hermetic should be about 6 mm.
  2. After drawing of hermetic establish the oil pallet within no more than 15 minutes.

10. At a vvorachivaniye of bolts of fastening of the oil pallet consider that bolts have different length. Tighten bolts the inhaling moment according to the specification.

Inhaling moment: 10–12 N • m

11. Using the special tool, screw the sensor of pressure of oil, previously having greased a sensor carving with a hermetic layer.

Hermetic. 1104 or equivalent

Do not tighten the pressure sensor with application of the big moment of an inhaling.
Moment of an inhaling of the sensor of pressure: 8–12 N • m
