1.1.14. Cranked shaft and flywheel

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a gear belt, a forward cover, a flywheel and the oil pallet.
2. Remove a back cover from the block of cylinders and a back oil sealing ring of a cranked shaft.
3. Unscrew nuts and remove covers of rods.

Mark covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft to establish them on the places and in the same situation.

4. Turn out bolts and remove covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft and remove a cranked shaft. Hold bearings together to a cover.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check necks of radical and shatunny bearings of a cranked shaft on lack of wear and development. Check lubricant openings of a cranked shaft on lack of a contamination.

2. By a micrometer measure diameters of necks of a cranked shaft in two opposite directions. In the presence of a konusnost or ovality перешлифуйте a cranked shaft.

  • Diameter of radical necks of a cranked shaft: 56,982–57,000 mm
  • Diameter of the shatunny: 44,980–45,000 mm

Radical and shatunny bearings

Check shatunny and radical loose leaves on absence of local corrosion, development and other damages. If necessary, replace loose leaves.

Measurement of a gap of radical and shatunny bearings

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

For measurement of a gap of radical and shatunny bearings measure diameters of necks of a cranked shaft and the corresponding internal diameters of bearings. The size of a gap is a difference between internal diameter of the bearing and the corresponding diameter of a neck of a cranked shaft.

  • Gap of radical bearings of a cranked shaft: 0,02–0,05 mm
  • Gap of shatunny bearings No. 1, 2, 4, 5 of a cranked shaft: 0,018–0,036 mm
  • Gap of the shatunny bearing No. 3 of a cranked shaft: 0,024–0,042 mm

Plastigauge method

Measurement of a gap of radical and shatunny bearings with use of the plastic calibrated core of Plastigauge is most exact and convenient

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear radical and shatunny necks of a cranked shaft of greasing, and lubricant openings blow the compressed air.
2. Establish loose leaves of radical bearings on the block of cylinders of the engine. Arrange pieces of a plastic measuring core of Plastigauge on loose leaves in covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft.

3. Establish a cranked shaft on loose leaves of radical bearings in the block of cylinders. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings. In a certain sequence tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. Do not turn a cranked shaft of the engine at measurement of a gap of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. Turn out bolts and remove covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. By a measuring template measure width of the deformed plastic core of Plastigauge and define gap size.

  • If the gap exceeds maximum permissible value, replace radical loose leaves of a cranked shaft.
  • At installation of a new cranked shaft, be convinced that used loose leaves of the standard size.

Oil sealing rings

Check lobbies and back oil sealing rings on absence of damages or wear of working edges. In the presence of any defects replace a sealing ring.

Covers of bearings

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

After installation of covers of bearings turn a cranked shaft and be convinced that it rotates easily and smoothly, and its axial люфт corresponds to the values given in the specification.

  • Axial люфт cranked shaft: 0,050–0, 250 mm.
  • Maximum permissible about Seva люфт a cranked shaft: 0, 250 mm.

Drive plate

Replace the deformed, damaged or having cracks a drive plate.

Flywheel

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a condition of a surface of the flywheel contacting to a disk of coupling. In the presence of considerable wear replace a flywheel.
2. Check palpation of a surface of the flywheel contacting to a disk of coupling.

Palpation: 0,13 mm

3. Check a condition of a gear wreath of a flywheel on absence of damages and wear and if necessary replace it.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish the top loose leaves of radical bearings with flutes for supply of oil on the block of cylinders of the engine. At repeated installation of loose leaves establish them on the same places on which they were before removal.
2. Establish loose leaves of radical bearings in covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft.

3. Establish the top and bottom central loose leaves of radical bearings.

4. Before installation of a cranked shaft apply a thin film pure engine oil on all surfaces of sliding. Establish a cranked shaft on loose leaves of radical bearings in the block of cylinders.

5. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft, thus the arrow on each cover should be directed to a pulley of a cranked shaft.

6. In a certain sequence tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft in the following order: central, No. 2, No. 4, forward and back.

Inhaling moment: 25 N • m + to tighten on a corner 90 °–94 °

7. Tighten bolts for 4 or 5 passes.
8. Turn a cranked shaft and check that it rotates easily and smoothly. Establish a measuring tip of the indicator of hour type on a forward end face of a cranked shaft. Move a cranked shaft along an axis against the stop and establish a scale of the indicator of hour type on a zero. Move a cranked shaft along an axis to other party against the stop and read values axial люфта on an indicator scale.

9. Grease an external surface of a new back sealing ring with engine oil. The special tool 09231-21000 establish a sealing ring against the stop in a nest of a back cover.

10. To establish an oil separator in an oil sealing ring so that the lubricant opening was directed down.

11. Establish a cover of a sealing ring with new laying.
12. Establish sideways cylinders a back plate.
13. Establish a flywheel and fix bolts having tightened them according to the specification.

Inhaling moment: 130–140 N • m
