1.2.13. Cranked shaft

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a gear belt, a head of the block of cylinders, a drive plate, a transmission, the oil pallet and an assembly plate.
2. Remove a back cover from the block of cylinders and a back oil sealing ring of a cranked shaft.
3. Unscrew nuts and remove covers of rods.

Mark covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft to establish them on the places and in the same situation.

4. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a cover of radical bearings and remove a cranked shaft.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check necks of radical and shatunny bearings of a cranked shaft on lack of wear and development. Check lubricant openings of a cranked shaft on lack of a contamination.

2. By a micrometer measure diameters of necks of a cranked shaft in two opposite directions. In the presence of a konusnost or ovality перешлифуйте a cranked shaft.

  • Diameter of radical necks of a cranked shaft: 59,980–60,000 mm
  • Diameter of the shatunny: 49,980–50,000 mm

Radical and shatunny bearings

Check shatunny and radical loose leaves on absence of local corrosion, development and other damages. If necessary, replace loose leaves.

Measurement of a gap of radical and shatunny bearings

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

For measurement of a gap of radical and shatunny bearings measure diameters of necks of a cranked shaft and the corresponding internal diameters of bearings. The size of a gap is a difference between internal diameter of the bearing and the corresponding diameter of a neck of a cranked shaft.

  • Gap of radical bearings of a cranked shaft: 0,02–0,048 mm
  • Gap of shatunny bearings of a cranked shaft: 0,016–0,046 mm

Plastigauge method

Measurement of a gap of radical and shatunny bearings with use of the plastic calibrated core of Plastiga u ge is most exact and convenient

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear radical and shatunny necks of a cranked shaft of greasing, and lubricant openings blow the compressed air.

2. Establish loose leaves of radical bearings on the block of cylinders of the engine. Establish a cranked shaft on loose leaves of radical bearings in the block of cylinders. Establish the remained loose leaves of radical bearings in covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. Arrange pieces of a plastic measuring core of Plastigauge on necks of radical bearings of a cranked shaft.

3. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings. In a certain sequence tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. Do not turn a cranked shaft of the engine at measurement of a gap of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. Turn out bolts and remove covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. By a measuring template measure width of the deformed plastic core of Plastiga u ge and define gap size.

If the gap exceeds maximum permissible value, перешлифуйте necks of a cranked shaft and use repair loose leaves of the increased size.

At installation of a new cranked shaft, be convinced that used loose leaves of the standard size.

Oil sealing rings

Check lobbies and back oil sealing rings on absence of damages or wear of working edges. In the presence of any defects replace a sealing ring.

Drive plate

Replace the deformed, damaged or having cracks a drive plate.

Installation

Radical bearing

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish the top loose leaves of radical bearings with flutes for supply of oil on the block of cylinders of the engine. At repeated installation of loose leaves establish them on the same places on which they were before removal.

2. Establish loose leaves of radical bearings in covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft.
3. Before installation of a cranked shaft apply a thin film pure engine oil on all surfaces of sliding. Establish a cranked shaft on loose leaves of radical bearings in the block of cylinders.
4. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft, thus the arrow on each cover should be directed to a pulley of a cranked shaft.

5. Tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft.

Inhaling moment:

  • M8: 14–18 N • m + to tighten on a corner 90 °–94 °
  • M10: 27–33 N • m + to tighten on a corner 90 °–94 °

7. Tighten bolts for 4 or 5 passes.

8. Turn a cranked shaft and check that it rotates easily and smoothly. By Shchup measure axial люфт a cranked shaft.

  • Axial люфт cranked shaft: 0,070–0,250 mm
  • Maximum permissible axial люфт cranked shaft: 0,3 mm

9. Grease an external surface of a new back sealing ring with engine oil. The special tool 09231-33000 establish a sealing ring against the stop in a nest of a back cover.

10. Put on the surface of a back cover shaded in drawing, a hermetic layer. Establish a back cover on the block of cylinders.

Inhaling moment: 10–12 N • m

11. Establish an assembly plate and fix it bolts.

Inhaling moment: 10–12 N • m

12. Establish a plate of a drive and a transitional plate and fix bolts.

Inhaling moment: 73–77 N • m
