1.2.4. Gear belt
Removal
|
|
1. Remove from the engine the top casing. |
|
2. A key on 16 mm turn the lever of the mechanism of a tension clockwise (approximately on a corner 14 °) and remove a belt from a pulley. |
3. Remove a pulley of the water pump, a single pulley, a pulley of the mechanism of a tension and a pulley of a cranked shaft.

4. Remove top and bottom casings of a gear belt. |
5. Support the engine a jack and remove a basic arm of the engine.
|
6. Separate an arm of the bottom frame from the engine. |
|
7. Remove the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt.
|
Turn a cranked shaft clockwise and combine adjusting labels that the piston in the first cylinder was established in the top dead point in a compression step.
At this time adjusting labels of a pulley of a camshaft and a cover of a head of the block of cylinders should be combined.

8. Remove a gear belt.
|
Note the direction of rotation of a gear belt for repeated installation it in initial situation. |

Check
|
|
1. Check a condition of a belt and п ри existence of the following defects, replace a gear belt. The surface has a glossy appearance. Rigidity of a surface such is that a nail does not leave traces on a belt. |

Cracks on a surface of a gear belt. |
|
Strong wear of one party of a belt.
|
The normal belt should have an equal lateral end face, as though cut off by a sharp knife. |
|
|
Strongly worn-out teeths (the last stage) The tooth party is worn-out, attritions become thus visible and the thickness of tooth is reduced.

Lack of tooth
|
2. Check ease and smoothness of rotation of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension and a single pulley, and also absence of extraneous noise at rotation. Replace them as required. |

Installation
Method of installation of a gear belt and tension mechanism
|
|
1. Establish a single pulley to inflow of the water pump.
|
Establish a single pulley a pin to a spring which is compressed and inserted into a ledge of the water pump. |
|
2. Establish the lever of the mechanism of a tension and combine a washer with the block of cylinders. 3. Establish a pulley of the mechanism of a tension to the lever of the mechanism of a tension.

4. Establish pulleys and combine adjusting labels.
|
At a tightening of a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a camshaft, a wrench for a shestigrannik hold a camshaft from a provorachivaniye.
Before installation of a gear belt if adjusting labels of a pulley and a cover of a head of the block of cylinders do not coincide, do not turn a pulley more than on 3 teeth in any direction.
Pulley turn more than on 3 teeth can lead to collision of pistons with valves.
In case of pulley rotation it is more than on 3 teeth, rotate a pulley after turn of a pulley of a cranked shaft from situation VMT.

5. Establish the tension mechanism on a forward cover.
|
At this time the adjusting core of the mechanism of a tension should be completely drowned in a natyazhitel. |

|
6. Combine adjusting labels of each pulley and put on a gear belt pulleys in the following sequence: pulley of a cranked shaft single pulley pulley of a camshaft of the managing director of inlet valves (left side) pulley of the water pump pulley of a camshaft of the managing director of final valves (right side) pulley of the mechanism of a tension.

At installation of a gear belt the piston of the first cylinder is in VMT in a compression step.
At installation of a gear belt do not insert fingers between a belt and pulleys.

7. Combine an adjusting pin of the mechanism of a tension. |
8. Establish an arm of the bottom frame to the engine.
|
9. Establish a basic arm of the engine. |
10. Establish top and bottom casings of a gear belt. 11. Establish a pulley of the water pump, a pulley of the mechanism of a tension and a pulley of a cranked shaft. 12. A key on 16 mm turn the lever of the mechanism of a tension clockwise (approximately on a corner 14 °) and establish a belt on a pulley. 13. Establish the top casing of the engine. 14. Establish a cover of a maslonalivny mouth. |

Adjustment method tension of a gear belt
|
1. Turn a cranked shaft two complete revolutions clockwise and in 5 minutes check that the piston of the first cylinder is in VMT in a compression step. 2. Check a deflection of a gear belt which should make – 6-8 mm. 3. Repeatedly check combination of all adjusting labels.

If adjusting labels are not combined, remove a gear belt and repeatedly establish it, since a step 6. |
