10.3. Bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a forward wheel.
2. Weaken nuts of fastening of the spherical hinge, but do not turn on them completely.

3. A stripper squeeze out a pin of the spherical hinge from a nest of the bottom lever.

4. Remove the spherical hinge.

5. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a fork to a nest of the bottom lever.

6. Disconnect draft of the stabilizer from the bottom lever.

7. Turn out 2 bolts of fastening of the plug of the bottom lever (A).

8. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the plug of the bottom lever (G).

9. Remove steering transfer.
10. Remove the stabilizer of cross-section stability.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish draft of the stabilizer so that the distance (A) was to equally standard size.

Standard size (A): 3–5 mm

2. Installation is carried out to sequences, return to removal.

Dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the socket from the bottom lever.

2. Using the special tool, remove the adjusting plug of the shock-absorber.

3. Using the special tool, remove the plug of the bottom lever (G).

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the plug on lack of wear and condition deterioration.
2. Check the bottom lever on lack of a bend or damage.
3. Check a dustproof cover of the spherical hinge on lack of cracks.
4. Check a condition of all bolts.

5. Check a torque which is necessary for putting for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever.

  1. If there are cracks in a protective cover, replace it and add greasing in the hinge.
  2. Several times shake here and there a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever.
  3. Measure a torque necessary for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever.
    Torque: 0,1–0,4 N • m
  4. If the torque is lower than admissible values, replace the spherical hinge.
  5. If the torque exceeds admissible values, the spherical hinge can be reused, if value of the moment does not exceed 1,5 N • m.

6. Check a torque which is necessary for putting for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge of draft of the stabilizer.

  1. If there are cracks in a protective cover, replace it and add greasing in the hinge.
  2. Several times shake here and there a pin of the spherical hinge of draft of the stabilizer.
  3. Screw самоконтрящуюся a nut on a pin of the spherical hinge and then measure a torque necessary for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge.
    Torque: 1,7–3,2 N • m
  4. If the torque exceeds admissible values, replace draft of the stabilizer.
  5. If the torque is much lower than admissible value, the spherical hinge can be reused, if it is not got jammed and has no excessive люфта.

Assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Using the special tool, press the adjusting plug of the shock-absorber.

2. Arrange the plug of the bottom lever (G) at an angle, designated in drawing.

3. Using the special tool, press the plug of the bottom lever (G).

4. Establish the socket on the bottom lever.
