10.4. Top lever of a forward suspension bracket

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a forward wheel.
2. Weaken nuts of fastening of the spherical hinge, but do not turn on them completely.

3. A stripper squeeze out a pin of the spherical hinge from a nest of the top lever.

4. Turn out two nuts of fastening of the top lever of a forward suspension bracket.

5. Remove the top lever of a forward suspension bracket.

6. Installation is carried out to sequences, return to removal.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the plug on existence of wear and condition deterioration.
2. Check the top lever on existence of a bend or breakages.

3. Check a torque which is necessary for putting for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge of the top lever.

  1. If there are cracks in a protective cover, replace it and add greasing in the hinge.
  2. Several times shake here and there a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever.
  3. Screw самоконтрящуюся a nut on a pin of the spherical hinge and then measure a torque necessary for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge.
    Torque: 1,5–2,5 N • m
  4. If the torque exceeds admissible values, replace the spherical hinge.
  5. If the torque is much lower than admissible value, the spherical hinge can be reused, if it is not got jammed and has no excessive люфта.
