11.15. Electronic system of the amplifier of a wheel
In a steering drive with the electronic amplifier (EPS) the same knots, as in usual system of the power steering are used. Besides, in the block of the amplifier of a steering and the control unit on the central panel under a radio receiver there is a solenoidal valve. For management of a liquid stream in steering transfer, the solenoid eats a current from the control unit which receives a signal from VSS (the sensor of speed of the car).
The electronic EPS amplifier operates a current submitted to the solenoid of the perepuskny valve on the basis of signals from the entrance sensor and operates amount of liquid in the cylindrical chamber the effort of management according to speed of movement of the car, thus, changes.
The EPSCM control unit is established on the central panel under a radio receiver
Solenoidal EPS valve
The solenoidal valve is located in steering transfer and operates a stream of liquid of a steering drive with the amplifier. The solenoidal valve consists of a final spring, the piston and a plunzher.
The entrance current changes from 0 And to 1 And depending on speed of the car and copes the EPS control unit. At inclusion of ignition the current via the solenoidal valve starts to proceed and the plunzher and respectively the piston contacting to a plunzher raises, overcoming resistance of a spring. At increase in speed of the car the proceeding current decreases, and the plunzher moves down under the influence of a spring.
At a raising of the piston the stream of liquid passing through an opening to a steering drive with the amplifier is blocked, and the total pressure of liquid is transferred. But when the opening is open, as the piston is moved down, the part of liquid from the valve merges in a tank through an opening in the valve.
If it is necessary to remove the EPS block, be convinced that disconnect the socket for an exception of damage of the block.
