13.2. Front bumperForward and back bumpers consist of three parts: overlays of a bumper, foamy absorber of energy and amplifier of a bumper.
The slip is made of polypropylene. The foamy absorber of energy is made of expanded polystyrene.
The amplifier of a bumper is made of strong fibers and polypropylene. The foamy absorber of energy is located between an overlay of a bumper and the amplifier.
Check

1. Visually check a condition of an overlay of a front bumper on absence of damages and check reliability of fastening of a bumper. 2. Check a front bumper on absence in it extraneous subjects.

Removal
|
|
2. Remove a front grille. |
|
3. Remove an overlay of a bumper.
Disconnect a wire from the right fog light.
Remove one connector and turn out two bolts of fastening of the right top side of a bumper.
Repeat these operations on the left side.

Turn out two screws from the forward party of an overlay of a bumper.
Turn out one bolt on the left side of a bumper.
Repeat these operations on the right side.
Remove four connectors from under a cover.

4. Remove a foamy absorber of energy and the amplifier. |
|
Turn out two nuts from the left back side of a bumper.
Repeat these operations on the right side.

Installation
|
Establish a front bumper in sequence, return to removal.
Inhaling moment: 19–28 N • m
