14.9. Charging of central air of air

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

The charging of central air of air is necessary for carrying out a coolant in a gaseous state through the party with low pressure. When the cooling container is placed on the right side, the coolant will be included into system as steam.

1. Connect the final valve to a cylinder with a coolant.

2. Open the valve of low pressure and adjust it so that the manometer of low pressure showed pressure no more than 412 kPas.

3. Place the container with a coolant in the water which has been heated up to temperature no more 40°C to support a vapor pressure in the container a little above, than a vapor pressure in system.

4. Start the engine in a mode of the accelerated idling and turn on the conditioner.

Be convinced that support a container rack to interfere with hit of a liquid coolant through the party with low pressure as damage of the compressor of the conditioner is thus possible.

5. Charge system precisely established quantity of a coolant and close the delivery valve.

Quantity of a coolant: 670±25 g

When speed of a charging will decrease, place the container with a coolant in the water which has been heated up to temperature no more 40°C (104°F).

Under any circumstances the coolant cannot be heated up in water above to temperature 52°C (126°F).

For heating of a coolant the blowtorch should not be used.
