15.14. Transceiver installationThe electronic control system was developed so that external radio-waves did not render on it essential influence. However, if the aerial or a cable of the amateur transceiver are established about control units by car systems, they can have harmful effects, even if target capacity of the transceiver no more than 25 W.
For protection of electronic control systems against impact on them the working transceiver, it is necessary to fulfill the following requirements.
|
1. Establish the aerial on a roof or a rear bumper. 2. As radio-waves also are radiated from a coaxial cable of the aerial, lay it at distance not less than 200 mm from control units and plaits of wires. If the cable crosses a plait of wires, arrange it so that it settled down at right angle to a plait of wires. 3. The aerial and a cable should be well coordinated and the ratio of a standing wave should be low. 4. The transmitter with big target capacity should not be established in the car.
