2.8. Forward cover and oil pump of 2,0 l of DOHC

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a gear belt.
2. Turn out all bolts of fastening of the oil pallet.
3. Remove the oil pallet.
4. Remove the mesh oil filter and laying.
5. Remove a plunzher and laying, then disconnect compensating spring and a safety valve from an arm of the oil filter.

6. Remove the sensor of pressure of oil.

7. Remove an arm of the oil filter and laying.

8. Using the special tool, remove a stopper from a forward cover.

9. Before an otvorachivaniye of nuts of fastening of a pulley of the oil pump, at first remove a cap on the left side of the block of cylinders and into an opening insert a screw-driver to block the left balancing shaft in a starting position. The screw-driver used for this purpose should have a core in diameter of 8 mm which can be inserted on depth more than 60 mm.

10. Unscrew a lock nut of fastening of a pulley of the oil pump and remove a pulley. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the right balancing shaft until it cannot be unscrewed manually.

11. Turn out forward bolts of fastening of a forward cover and uncover also laying. Get two balancing shaft from the block of cylinders.

12. Uncover the oil pump from a forward cover.

13. Get gear wheels of the oil pump from a forward cover.

Check

Oil consolidation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check forward oil consolidation on lack of wear or damage of working edges and, if necessary, replace it.
2. Check a working edge of consolidation on absence of its deterioration. If it is necessary replace oil consolidation.

Sensor of pressure of oil

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If the control lamp of pressure of engine oil lights up after inclusion of ignition and dies away after engine start, means, the sensor of pressure of engine oil is serviceable. If the control lamp of pressure of engine oil does not light up after ignition inclusion, check a condition of the sensor of pressure of oil, a lamp and electroconducting.

2. If there is an electric current after inclusion of ignition and the current is absent after engine start, means, the sensor of pressure of engine oil is serviceable.

If the sensor of pressure of engine oil is serviceable, check a lamp and electroconducting.

Working pressure of switching of the sensor of pressure of oil: 14,71–29,42 kPas

3. Using a deep key on 24 mm tighten the sensor the demanded moment.

Inhaling moment: 8–12 N • m

Check of the sensor of pressure of oil

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. An ohmmeter check conductivity of connection between the plug of the sensor and the block of cylinders. In the absence of conductivity, replace the sensor.

2. An ohmmeter check conductivity of connection between the plug of the sensor and the block of cylinders at the put-forward rod of the sensor. If conductivity is available even at the put-forward rod, replace the sensor.

3. However, if there is no conductivity even at the annex of vacuum of 50 kPas to a sensor opening, the sensor works properly.

Oil pump

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a gear wheel of the oil pump in a forward cover and rotate it to be convinced of its smooth rotation without jammings.
2. Be convinced that there is no wear on a contact surface between a forward cover and a surface of a gear wheel of a cover of the oil pump.

3. After installation of gear wheels of the oil pump in a forward cover measure a gap between gear wheels of the oil pump and a nest in a cover.

  • Gap of a leading gear wheel of the oil pump: 0,16–0,21 mm
  • Gap of a conducted gear wheel of the oil pump: 0,13–0,18 mm
  • Maximum permissible gap of a leading gear wheel of the oil pump: 0,25 mm
  • Maximum permissible gap of a conducted gear wheel of the oil pump: 0,25 mm

4. By a metal ruler and shchupy measure a lateral gap of gear wheels of the oil pump.

  • Lateral gap of a leading gear wheel of the oil pump: 0,08–0,14 mm
  • Lateral gap of a conducted gear wheel of the oil pump: 0,06–0,12 mm
  • Maximum permissible gap of a lateral leading gear wheel of the oil pump: 0,25 mm
  • Maximum permissible lateral gap of a conducted gear wheel of the oil pump: 0,25 mm

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease gear wheels and combine adjusting labels on gear wheels.

2. Using the special tool 09214-32000, establish in a forward cover oil consolidation of the forward party of a cranked shaft.

3. Establish the special tool 09214-32100 at a forward end face of a cranked shaft and apply a thin film oils on an external surface of the special tool for installation of a forward cover.

4. Establish a forward cover and temporarily screw bolts of fastening of a ledge with a filter arm.

5. Establish a forward cover with new laying and fix it bolts.

Inhaling moment: 20–27 N • m

6. Insert a screw-driver into a through opening under a cap to block the left balancing shaft in a starting position.

7. Establish a new sealing ring in a flute of a forward cover.

8. Using the special tool, establish a cap and tighten it the demanded moment.

9. Put a hermetic layer in a groove of a flange of the oil pallet as is shown in drawing.

The thickness of a layer of hermetic should be about 6 mm.
After drawing of hermetic establish the oil pallet within no more than 15 minutes.

10. At a vvorachivaniye of bolts of fastening of the oil pallet consider that bolts have different length. Tighten bolts the inhaling moment according to the specification.

Inhaling moment: 10–12 N • m

11. Using the special tool, screw the sensor of pressure of oil, previously having greased a sensor carving with a hermetic layer.

Hermetic : 1104 or equivalent

Do not tighten the pressure sensor with application of the big moment of an inhaling.

Moment of an inhaling of the sensor of pressure: 8–12 N • m
