3.6. Radiator



1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Disconnect the socket from the engine of the fan of a radiator.
3. Turn out a stopper plum on a radiator and merge cooling liquid in the suitable container.
4. Weaken collars and disconnect the top and bottom hoses from a radiator.

5. On cars with an automatic transmission disconnect hoses from an oil radiator.

For an exception of an effluence of transmission liquid and dirt hit in system, close the ends of hoses of an oil radiator suitable caps.

6. Turn out bolts of fastening of a radiator.
7. Remove a radiator together with the radiator fan.

8. Remove the fan engine from a radiator.



1. Check on a radiator on lack of extraneous subjects between plates.
2. Check on lack of pognuty plates of a radiator. If necessary straighten platinum.
3. Check a radiator on lack of cracks, damages and absence of leaks.
4. Check radiator hoses on lack of cracks, damages and attritions.
5. Check a broad tank on absence of damages.
6. Check hoses of an oil radiator of an automatic transmission on lack of cracks, damages and attritions.



1. Fill in in cooling system necessary amount of demanded cooling liquid.
2. Start up the engine and leave it to work until the thermostat valve will open, then stop the engine.
3. Uncover a radiator and add cooling liquid to the upper edge of a mouth of a radiator.
4. Check absence of leaks from cooling system.
