4.4. The canister with absorbent carbon

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a vacuum hose (with a red strip) from throttle knot and instead of it connect the vacuum pump with a vacuum hose.

2. Close a branch pipe connected with a vacuum hose.
3. Check the following parameters on the cold engine at temperature of cooling liquid less 40°C and on the hot engine at temperature of cooling liquid more 80°C.

  • At operation of the cold engine in a mode of idling and frequency of 3000 mines-1 at creation of depression of 50 kPas the vacuum should be supported.
  • At operation of the hot engine in an idling mode at creation of depression of 50 kPas the vacuum should be supported.
  • During 3 mines after increase in frequency of rotation to 3000 mines-1 of the hot engine and attempt to change depression the vacuum should be absent.
  • Through 3 mines after increase in frequency of rotation to 3000 mines-1 of the hot engine and creation of depression of 50 kPas the vacuum should is supported quickly then should be absent.

The vacuum should be supported constantly if the car is at height of 2 200 m above sea level or the air temperature, arriving in the engine less 50°C.

Survey

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check reliability of all connections and absence of damages of tubes for паров fuels.
2. Check tightness of tubes.

3. After EVAP canister removal visually check the canister on absence of damages, if necessary, replace it.
