5.33. Pedal and accelerator cable

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a tip of an internal part of a cable from the lever of a pedal of an accelerator.

2. Turn out bolts of fastening of a cable of an accelerator to a partition of a motor compartment.

3. Pull on itself the left side of a pedal of an accelerator and remove a pedal of management of an accelerator from the lever.

4. Turn out bolts and remove an arm of a pedal of an accelerator.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a cable of an accelerator and a cable cover on absence of damages.
2. Check smoothness of moving of a cable of an accelerator in a cover.
3. Check an accelerator pedal on lack of a bend.
4. Check a condition of a returnable spring.
5. Check a condition of a tip of a cable of an accelerator.
6. Check functioning of a cable of an accelerator.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease with konsistentny greasing of a point of turn of a pedal of an accelerator.

2. For hit prevention паров and the fulfilled gases in salon of the car put hermetic on a carving of bolts of fastening of an arm of a pedal of an accelerator.

Inhaling moment: 8–12 N • m

3. Insert a tip of a cable of an accelerator into capture on the end of the lever of a pedal of an accelerator.

4. Put universal konsistentny greasing round a tip of a cable of an accelerator.
